Micro glass cenospheres: The unique material of the future

Selecting cenosphere depends on the business requirements of the buyer. There are a host of manufacturers who make cenospheres and often cater to different types of needs. While looking for increased flow in the material, hollow glass micro spheres are the best. They act like ball bearings which improve the immovability and reduce the viscosity of the material to which it is added. This also reduces the internal stress in the resin mixture. Due to all these properties of this type of cenosphere, much less heat is created in the materials that are combined with micro glass particles. It provides adequate lubrication and prevents thermal decomposition.
Since micro glass spheres are more likely to extrude, they increase the efficiency of the composite material by 15-20 percent. Superior quality cenospheres occupy little surface area, absorb less oil and spread evenly in the mixture. As it can be easily compressed and integrated it allows easy loading. With its use resin consumption can be highly reduced, level of fillers can be increased and takes down the VOC indicators, effectively. The hollow glass microspheres show isotropism and allow high filling. The shrinkage of the composite material is controlled. The suitable ratio for filling improves hardiness of the products, resistance against impact and hardness of the product.
This type of cenosphere has very low density, which is far less than resins. A small quantity of micro glass spheres can replace heavier materials. While comparing between cost / unit volume and cost / unit weight these types of cenospheres have an edge. Hence, they can reduce cost.  Due to low density a small amount of glass microspheres can do the work. For example 14 kg of talc can be replaced by only 1 kg of glass microspheres. The desired density of a material can be achieved by adding a small amount of cenosphere. With the help of cenospheres, the slurry density of cement can be reduced.
Hollow glass cenosphere is ultra light weight, inorganic, non-metallic, high performance and versatile, which has been developed recently. Experts believe that it is a unique material which will change the scenario.
